Heather received a Bachelors degree in psychology from Queens College (CUNY) in 2005 and then went on to obtain a Masters degree in social work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 2007. She became licensed later that same year and then earned her clinical social work license in the state of New Jersey in 2010.
Heather’s social work experience includes working in long term care facilities, inpatient psych units, social service agencies and geriatric programming. She has held roles in case management, end of life planning, discharge planning and clinical social work. In January 2013, Heather left her job as a clinician at Jewish Family Services of Passaic-Clifton to open a private practice, and hasn’t looked back since.
In her free time, Heather enjoys expanding her knowledge of mental health, hiking, spending time with family, and cooking new and interesting international cuisine. Heather takes great pride in her role as a wife, and a mother to 2 sons, 4 daughters and 2 cats.
